HEEEEEEEEEEYY!! We had a riot in Cadillac Ranch in Prince George! I can’t believe that with that many staff, they all get along! I was in Prince George 8 years ago and checked out Cadillac Ranch with Billy while we played at another hotel. Cadillac Ranch is where I really wanted to play. I finally got the chance last week!! The crowd was amazing and so appreciative and our boss Stevie was totally cool!
Shane the D.J. was none other than totally cool and a cutie pie. The bouncers too many to name them all and I don’t wanna leave any of them our were just hilarious and just all round nice guys!! I loved their
hugs and I was actually really sad to leave. The party will be on again in February as we are going back. It is really worth the drive to get there for sure!!!! I’m going to add some pictures from Cadillac Ranch on here. Just scroll down.

HEYYYYY! Happy New Year to everyone!!
Terry, Dana and the Staff brought the New Year in with a bang!! Thank you so much for everything!!
Sexsmith was -30 the week we were there and still people braved the cold and still came out to ring in the New Year. True Colly Shaw Fans that is for sure!! Tina my friend and server that night was using me as a guinea pig to try out new drinks, hey… I am not complaining. LOL. I still don’t have a favorite. :O) We are looking forward to next year for sure!! Happy 2009!!!

Hey everyone!!!!! went out tonight to catch Baby Harry at Shotguns!! People that were there were diggin him and his Blues show. There were people up dancing and having a good time. I got to sit with him and visit for a while. He is a really cool dude and down to earth. He loves what he does that is for sure. I didn’t bring my camera tonight and I totally regret it!! I should bring my camera wherever I go so I can post stuff on my blog all the time. I love seeing pics of people even if I don’t know them. I love seeing people having a good time. The Colly Shaw Band is playing Shotguns for Boxing Day and I’m sure it will be a blast! Can’t wait. I love playing my home town that way I get to be home with my kids and run them all over like a chicken with my head cut off. Guilty mother syndrome. LOL. Anyways I am going to bed because it is 5:17 a.m. and I need my rest before going to Medicine Hat to do my friends Christmas party….Look out Bill Wells you wont know what hit ya. LOL

Yes, everyone Baby Harry is in town. What a smokin blues singer on stage and a wonderful charasmatic guy off stage. Billy and I went out for a couple of hours to check him out. I am surprised he reckognized me without my hat and braids!! He played some of my favorite songs and we exchanged C.D.’s. I am going out with the girls on Saturday night for a Christmasy kinda get together so if you wanna come and join us we’ll be planted in the middle of the room chatting up a storm. Today is a totally nutty day… but first I wanted to say that Saturday night at Shotgun Willy’s was a smash success!! Martini Night was just incredible. People came out early and got wrist bands and punch cards for their Martini deal. 10 carefully concocted Martini’s made especially for you for just $25.00 A very smokin’ deal that’s for sure. Watch for the next Martini night. DO NOT MISS out on it! DO YOU DARE?
I went to a luncheon today with Brooklyn it had everything there from deer sausage skewers to French scalloped potatoes and a ton of squares and cakes for dessert. Needless to say I am extremely full. I am off for down town as I still have a friggin’ ton of Christmas stuff to get done. I have one more package to send out. I sent out a package to Kamloops yesterday by bus and it was 18.00. I think the next package I send will be by mail. They are the same exact size package so I will see how much I save by mailing them.
Last night I was up till three in the morning baking gingerbread cookies to decorate on Christmas Eve.
The kids wanted to do something so, I have that for them to do. Even though they don’t know it yet.
LOL, they still like doing stuff like that even though one is a teenager and one is 11. I’ll just be glad they will be doing something together instead of annoying the heck out of each other.
Well, off to town I go. Wish me luck.
Massage therapy for me today at 3p.m. My sciatic nerve is still on the fritz but I am managing the pain. Mind over matter. LOL

It turned out to be a pretty good night at Shotguns after all. I would imagine the people trickling in were from Christmas parties or Karaoke and such from all over town. It snowed like you wouldn’t believe all night. Billy was asked by the police to make sure he swept the vehicle off really good before driving the roads. He obliged. LOL. I thought for some reason that this was Saturday night and we were finished the gig.. lol but I guess we have one more night to go. Blonde moment for sure!
I am beat. 12 days till Christmas and I haven’t even started shopping… OH MY! yes, leave it till the last minute of course. At least Walmart is open 24 hours now. Maybe I will go tomorrow night after work… Nope, I gotta start tearing down the equipment, silly me.

Hey there! How do you like the snow? I have four wheel drive so I am going through the snow like buttah! LOL! Tonight we start work at Shotgun Willy’s at 10p.m. I hope there are going to be a few Christmas parties out tonight. Those are always a friggen riot! I just look forward to someone dancing like Elaine off Seinfeld. That is definately my entertainment. Tomorrow night is Martini Night. Yes, keep those chocolate martinis flowing! Or any flavor. Today I started Christmas baking with my kids and it will all be gone by tomorrow I am sure. Nothing is safe around here.
I will write more once I get home.

Hey there kids!! Had a great time tonight and looking forward to the weekend~~
I popped into Dewey’s to see what all the hub bub was … and Low and behold there was Lily hosting Karaoke. I did not know it happens every Thursday night. Pretty cool. Everyone was getting right into it and it was quite a show. Not to many people know that that is where I began to get over my shyness of singing in front of people. Seven years ago I was doing the exact same thing singing stuff like Oasis, Celine Dion, Melissa Etheridge, Madonna and Alanis Morrisette. I just loved belting the songs out and entering contests which I have never won, but had a riot doing it.
I popped back into Shotgun Willy’s to do my job, which I always have a blast doing. Big or small crowd it doesn’t matter, I just love entertaining.
I have to get up at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) so, I better get to sleep.

Even though I am not a huge fan of snow, I am glad it has finally come in time for the holidays.
We’ve only had one medium sized dump of the white stuff for December here in Cranbrook. If it just stays like this it is way easier to tour when we go to upper Alberta such as Grande Prairie and Sexsmith. We are playing Sexsmith Hotel for New Years Eve and then in March to Grande Prairie to play at the York Hotel. The snow can hold off while we travel.
We play this weekend at the York Hotel in Cranbrook, at Shotgun Willy’s and then so far we have the week after that off. My friend Antoine (Baby Harry) is going to be playing the week I am off so I am going to drop in and see him for a bit. I’ve never heard him play, but I hear he is a great entertainer. I’ll see if I can upload a picture and put it on here. I hope every one has a great day. I know I will!!!

Hey there!! it is Thursday night Dec 4th. Just finished setting up at Shotguns. Everything went well except one light is not working. Michael is down at Shotguns fixing stuff and I am at home making pizza before we have to go to work. I hope I don’t burn it like I usually do. Ha Ha! I will write more later to let you know how the night went. Should be fun as always! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
